The Journey: World System: Puzzle

Partnership concept

In our World, we are all actors. Some of us are scientists, accountants or bloggers. We all have a role to play for each of us, in this society and our world. Whether you are rich or poor, popular or unpopular, a winner or a loser, having a successful life or a life of disease, we all have to “act” through them. We cannot escape our destinies, we must be a part of the puzzle that forms the whole complete puzzle. If you do not fulfill your destinies, the pizza will be lacking a part of it, and thus this puzzle will not be considered complete. This is how our real world works, and everyone is working in this system. Inside the system, we all have to adjust to the game plan of the system, as we mature. We all have to find a job, or find ways to make money. We have to get married and have children, just to continue our normal and sociable lifestyle. We have to make plans for retirement and have to find money to cater to our health expenses. The above acts, are acts of most of us normal people. We cannot escape from this system, or else we will be considered as incapable, and lose or social and worldly status.

Does it makes any difference to us believing in God, or being a Christian? To a certain extent, we are still in the system of the world, but the difference is we now have a director in our life, which is God. Upon the first moment after we choose to believe in God, we are then welcomed to the Holy Family. And our life will be forever transformed. We don’t work for our life anymore, we will depend on God’s provision. Matthew 6:33

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

And we do not have to worry about our health issue, or to struggle for every extra dime to pay for our healthcare expenses. We just have to believe in Jesus who can perform a miracle for an incurable disease. Matthew 9:20-22

Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.”

Here you see, we are still in the worldly system, working hard every day and spending weekends in malls with our family, but we no longer work for ourselves and just play with our kids, but we work for God, and engage with our kids to make them God believers. We are depending on God to give us provision, in contrast to us believing that we can make money by our hands to an enjoyable life. What we Christians are now doing is to work for God, inside this system. We have to remind ourselves that we do not work for God in order to get our interests met, or to seek rewards that come with our hard work, but we believe in seeking the kingdom and the righteousness of God, and the faith that He will give us the daily bread, through our job, in this system. This is the main difference that we are different from the 70% of non-believers of God in the worldly system. Although there are a lot of people who practise doing good but do not believe in God, what they are lacking is having a director who oversees and directs their way of lives, so their lives can be made happier and with purpose. I will further elaborate the definition of directing in my next blog post.

Besides, the difference between being a puzzle of a God believer and a non-God believer is that believing in God gives us light, and will lead us to a more happier and purposeful life. I call this “Light Puzzle”. Not only will this light lead us when we are in daytime doing things, it will also act as a shinning tower to give us direction in the dark. What I am trying to say is that this light from God will guide us, and lead us to the straight path that will lead us to Him, heaven and eternal life. And not only can we have a meaningful life, we will then act as a “Light Puzzle” that we enlighten and encourage people to seek the truth, and then ultimately believe in God themselves. Just imagine that it is not only a complete puzzle, but some of them are now given the light, which makes the complete puzzle a better one and the world a better place. You have light when you believe, and will lead people to have the light also. Win-win situation? Yes, it is.
